Thanks for coming to the boat party

A big thank you to everyone who came to our boat party in September and made it an awesome event. Much wine was quaffed and many analytics insights discovered. All in all we had a great time and thought it a great success.

We’ve included two presentations from the boat party by Rob Jackson (Elisa DBI) and Gavin Bonthron (Ancestry.co.uk) as downloadable PDFs as an added goody bag.

Conversion Thursday London Returns

We’re Back! Thursday 10th March 6.30pm

Hi all

After a small break (and a successful Conversion Thursday Manchester) we’re picking up the Conversion Thursday reins again on March 10th at the Yorkshire Grey pub in Holborn. As usual we’ll be mixing free beer with great speakers and a healthy dose of Conversion based fun. Our friends at Adobe will be picking up the beer tab and the topic will be around behavioural targeting and predictive analytics.

The Personalised Web

It seems to be a crucial time for behavioural targeting on the web; with innovation and controversy surrounding the space with equal measure. To debate the benefits and changes faced by marketers in 2011 we have asked some of the industry’s leading experts to come and share their thoughts with you:

Giles Richardson is a Business Intelligence consultant with 10 years experience in  the online retail space. Working with both start up as well as public listed multinationals, Giles is passionate about challenging the ‘rear view mirror’ position of analytics and using them to achieve mass customisation of web experiences.  Engaged currently delivering a predictive analytics solution for a UK retail bank.

Dave Harper is responsible for Business Development at Cognitive Match for Europe.  Cognitive Match are a real time targeting company driving up visitor’s response rates both for advertising and onsite activities. Prior to Cognitive Match, he has ran his own e-commerce business and has seen the impact of 100s of multivariable tests when working for one of the larger multivariable testing provider.

Michael Maslona is the Business Development Director for Epiphany Solutions – one of the fastest growing search agencies in the UK. Michael has 12 years of search marketing experience from SEO & PPC production and delivery through to account management and 7 years in sales. Michael’s worked with some of the largest brand in the UK, which include HSBC, Toys R Us, Virgin and TUI.

Rob Jackson heads up Elisa DBI in the UK who are part of Elisa Interactive Group, one of Europe’s leading solutions provider for digital business optimisation. Elisa DBI are award winning specialists in user experience, web analytics and conversion rate optimisation. Rob has 6 years experience in digital and has spoke at events such as SMX New York and Google’s ‘Make My Website Work’.

With such a talented panel the evening is a must for any companies or consultants who are working or planning to work with behavioural in 2011.

Tickets are free – just simply sign up on online and we’ll see you there.
